When patients request higher, more defined cheeks, understanding the complex relationship between structure and light becomes crucial. Looking at supermodels, we can easily see why patients desire this feature – dominant cheeks that are wider than the jawline create what we might call the “presentation box” for the eyes, where catch lights and shadows work together to draw attention upward.
The relationship between cheek width and jawline creates one of the defining characteristics of beautiful faces. In females, cheeks should be dominant, appearing wider than the jawline.
